Dr. Damon Jenkins graduated from Hampton University with a degree in molecular biology after which he attended the dental program at the University of Medicine and Dentistry in New Jersey. After obtaining his doctorate in dentistry he attended Louisiana State University where he obtained his specialty degree in prosthodontics. Not only does Dr. Jenkins do general dentistry, but is a specialist in implant restorations, crowns, bridges, veneers, partial and full dentures. Dr. Jenkins also obtained a masters degree in public health at LSU and served two general practice residencies at LSU Charity Hospital and Lutheran medical center in NYC. In addition to practicing dentistry, Dr. Jenkins is a clinical instructor at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. He served in Operation Iraqi Freedom and as a Captain in the the U.S. Army Dental Corps and was promoted to Major in the Army Reserves.
